Corey Morgan graduated from LaGrange College in 2017, where he was a Servant Scholar and a member of the football team. He earned his master's in public administration from Albany State University, winning the program's Dr. James E. Carter Sr. Award in 2021. He was elected to the City Council of Camilla, Georgia in 2019, re-elected in 2023, and now serves as Mayor Pro-Tem for Camilla.
